I have a 95 Honda Civic and I have a plain metal key that was cut by the locksmith because when I bought the car it didnt have keys and this is for a newer Civic and I was wondering if my key would actually fit in it

Yeah, it's not going to fit.

This is for Accords and other models with built-in keyfobs.

The auction is only for the "back cover". If you don't already have a key, you don't have the front, or the key.

It is intended for those with factory keys and they want to personalize it with something "different", they can buy this back cover and replace the key's back cover with this one.

If you have a plain metal key, it won't work. UNLESS you find one of those keys and put your key in it.

No, it will absolutely NOT fit. The item (if you actually READ the auction text) is a replacement housing for a remote for a much newer Honda. NOTHING to do with a key, and a key is not included.

Locksmithing will really come in handy in this problem. Why not try to inquire at people who has this for a hobby?
