i want to get my wife some better speakers for xmas. for supposedly having the 'premium' system it sure does suck. my question is to someone who has upgraded audio in this car. the factory specs say '350w, 7 speakers with 8" sub. i was trying to put together a package at crutchfield with at least new component system for front, and a new 8" sub for the rear deck but the site does not list an 8 sub for fitting the rr, but instead lists 5-and-a-quarters. which is right? is the 5-and-a-quarters for the regular civic and the si has the sub maybe? i dunno. i cant look at it right now as she took the car to work today. any advice on what to get or how?

I have a 08 SI coupe and I think the system sounds great to be factory . I have a lot people ask me what I had in the car . As far as getting speakers for your wife , I think you would be better off getting her something more "Sentimental " than speakers , however, it is your wife and only you know what she likes/wants . Good luck to you and have a Merry Christmas !

Honda S2K - quickest (0-60 in 5.5 seconds or much less), yet basically 2 seats, and kinda small. good looking vehicle however, yet ought to no longer be very sensible w/ basically 2 seats. RSX-S - relating to the comparable velocity as Si, possibly somewhat slower because of fact it would not have a LSD like the Si. i like the seems of it extra desirable than the Si, and Acura sounds extra desirable than Honda Si Coupe/Sedan - in all danger no distinction in overall performance between the two in a as we communicate line. somewhat speedier than the variety S, yet you spot Civics everywhere. while you're no longer looking sensible, pass S2K, in any different case, get the variety S. it incredibly is basically as rapid because of fact the Si, extra desirable looking, and the hatchback factors cabinet area. Plus, it has aftermarket help in case you pick it. The Evo IX MR is a monster, and has been my dream vehicle, however the inventory speedier will kill coverage and could be costly to maintain. Plus, Mitsubishi isn't a great vehicle employer in terms of reliability. What some 350Z or G35? they are as rapid because of fact the S2K (possibly somewhat slower), yet are larger and that i like them extra (G35 has returned seat, and occasional-value coverage)
