EX is the better of the three. EX-si is the TOP OF THE LINE above regular EX (more features such as power sun-roof, power everything, etc.) EX only have a v-tec engine, but an EX-si have a dual over-head cam (DOHC) which has more horsepower than the EX, LX, and DX. The LX, DX, and HX are the lower three of the Honda Civic class. EX-si=stands for EXecutive with si (super internal) EX=stands for EXecutive (classy and power) car version of a CEO. LX=stands for Luxury (classy, but less power with just a regular engine nothing like a v-tec and DOHC engine) DX=stands for Deluxe (less class, not too many features as the top three, and just a regular engine under the hood) Best: EX-si Better: EX Good:LX (yours) Bad: DX Worst: HX **Hope that helped (because noone else will be able to top the above informations I had just given you)

It depends on what you want. The DX is the least expensive, and while that is such, it's not necessarily bare-bones. The LX adds some nice stuff on top of the DX, while the EX is the best-equipped (and most expensive) of the three trims levels. The LX has most of the equipment as standard or optional that you will find on the EX, so it's probably the best value. However, there is no difference between trim levels regarding suspension and overall performance.

The taxonomy is EX > LX > DX, with the DX being the least expensive and having the fewest features. The LX adds appearance and comfort features (like body-colored mirrors, a nicer radio, cruise control), and the EX adds to the LX some performance features (four-wheel disk brakes) and some more luxury items (moonroof, more speakers).

GOD PEOPLE ARE MORONS. The DX and LX have the same motor the 107 HP non-vtec 1.6 liter, but the LX has a few more features inside and out neither of these are offered with a moonroof option from the factory. The EX has the 127 HP VTEC 1.6 liter motor, and offering more upgrades including the moonroof.

bottom line...go for the EX or LX. I have the Accord LX, and it's great...power everything

LX the the luxury version and the stronger engine. Check the engine codes if you dont believe me.

ex, dx, etc. are trim packages. That is, upholstery, seat type, color and such. Has nothing to do with performance.
