2003 Honda Civic clutch?

Question

hey guys i was wondering how much a clutch install would cost on my 2003 honda civic hx. The car has about 97xxx on it and its starting to make some ugly noises when i put it in gear. I heard its about 500-600 bucks anyone done it before?

My girlfriend got hers done for 700$.

Those car's have a major problem with the pilot bearings wearing out prematurely.

There's a good chance that the squeak your referring to is the throw-out bearing inside the transmission. A lot of times it will begin to get noisy due to the fact that overtime it loses it's lubrication and as the bearing gets dry it makes noise. See if the squeak occurs when you depress the clutch, and if it goes away when you release the clutch I can guarantee you that's the noise.Good luck

yeah that sounds right but if u want it professionally installed try 800-1100 but shop around for price is a good idea
