Read online, I think I have to wait till the dealership opens on Monday. I picked up my car after getting it fixed and the radio had "code" on the front. I've googled it, but can't find the unlock code.

A radio code card came with the car when it was new. It should be in the bag with the owners manual. If you lost it, you may find the code on a sticker in the trunk. I found mine when I lifted the trunk lid of my 2001 Civic and saw a sticker with the same numbers as the card. There is a 5 digit number on one line and a longer one above or below. You want the 5 digit number. You'll know it's the code because it only contains numbers 1 through 6. Use the buttons on the radio to enter the code. Check the manual for specifics.

There is no default code, try the following.



1. Look in glove box for small sticker with numbers, should be 5 digits with numbers no greater then 6.

2. Pull out the ashtray and see if the sticker is on the back of there.(older models that have them)

3. Pull radio from dash and write down radio serial number and call local dealer with that number and they will be able to get the code for you. They will ask verifying questions.

4. If you happen to have all the books from the dealer look in the 'HONDA SERVICE HISTORY' book, NOT the owners manual. It should be on the first page in the AUDIO CODE box.
